This subject equips students with analytical tools and techniques to support forward-looking supply chain decision making. Data analytics is the science of examining raw data to help draw conclusions about information. Students will be able to verify and enhance existing operating models using quantitative techniques. The subject will cover decision analytics for supply chain problems such as planning and resource allocation, transportation, rostering and scheduling, trend analysis and forecasting, trade-off analysis, predictive modelling and systems optimisation.
